This anime tells about the occupants of Phantomhive furor inholding a charity event for children orphaned, it was decided if they will hold a theatrical staging by lifting the Hamlet story. of course chosen as an actor ciel hamlet. staging should be running smoothly so chaotic because grell which should come into play on stage is busy chasing sebastian. This anime ends with a touching story during the scene where Hamlet will take revenge but instead simultaneously prevented by the audience (orphaned children) who took part carried away by the character played by Ciel.

On one particular day at the Phantomhive manor, while jadedly browsing through reports, Ciel catches sight of a white-rabbit-eared Sebastian. Said butler mumbling, "I'm late. I'm late." as he disappears down a hole in the floor. Ciel follows and drops into... another world?! "Kuroshitsuji" characters running around in Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland"?! William and Grell are chosen to train the new shinigami students, and while touring the building, explain the rules of the upcoming exam. The last part of the exam requires all shinigami students to find a partner and pass the given challenges. Only those who fully complete the exam can become a full-fledged shinigami. While passing a glance over the nervous students, William recalls back to the time when he was a young rookie shinigami... back to the time when he challenged the shinigami exam with his partner, Grell.

The OVA is based on the Trancy mansion. Alois Trancy frees a butterfly from a spiderweb and breaks off one of its wings, so that it cannot escape him. He orders Claude to fill his bedroom with flowers and an insect cage to keep the butterfly in. The story is shown in Alois', the triplets, Hannah's and Claude's views.
